(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Matthew
| 3: 5 | Then the people of Jerusalem and all Judea were coming out (ekporeuomai) to him, and all the region along the Jordan, |
| 4: 4 | But he answered, "It is written, 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out (ekporeuomai) from the mouth of God.'" |
| 15: 11 | it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but it is what comes out (ekporeuomai) of the mouth that defiles." |
