Matthew

26: 67Then they spat (emptyō) in his face and struck him; and some slapped him,
27: 30They spat (emptyō) on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head.

Mark

10: 34they will mock him, and spit (emptyō) upon him, and flog him, and kill him; and after three days he will rise again."
14: 65Some began to spit (emptyō) on him, to blindfold him, and to strike him, saying to him, "Prophesy!" The guards also took him over and beat him.
