2: 27Guided by the Spirit, Simeon came (erchomai) into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him what was customary under the law,
2: 44Assuming that he was in the group of travelers, they went (erchomai) a day's journey. Then they started to look for him among their relatives and friends.
2: 51Then he went down with them and came (erchomai) to Nazareth, and was obedient to them. His mother treasured all these things in her heart.
3: 3He came (erchomai) into all the region around the Jordan, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins,
3: 12Even tax collectors came (erchomai) to be baptized, and they asked him, "Teacher, what should we do?"
3: 16John answered all of them by saying, "I baptize you with water; but one who is more powerful than I is coming (erchomai); I am not worthy to untie the thong of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
4: 16When he came (erchomai) to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue on the sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read,
4: 34"Let us alone! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come (erchomai) to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God."
4: 42At daybreak he departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowds were looking for him; and when they came (erchomai) to him, they wanted to prevent him from leaving them.
5: 7So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come (erchomai) and help them. And they came (erchomai) and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
5: 17One day, while he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting near by (they had come (erchomai) from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem); and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.
5: 32I have come (erchomai) to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance."
5: 35The days will come (erchomai) when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days."
6: 18They had come (erchomai) to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.
6: 47I will show you what someone is like who comes (erchomai) to me, hears my words, and acts on them.
7: 3When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders to him, asking him to come (erchomai) and heal his slave.
7: 7therefore I did not presume to come (erchomai) to you. But only speak the word, and let my servant be healed.
7: 8For I also am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes, and to another, 'Come (erchomai),' and he comes (erchomai), and to my slave, 'Do this,' and the slave does it."
7: 19and sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are you the one who is to come (erchomai), or are we to wait for another?"
7: 20When the men had gone to him, they said, "John the Baptist has sent us to you to ask, 'Are you the one who is to come (erchomai), or are we to wait for another?'"
7: 33For John the Baptist has come (erchomai) eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, 'He has a demon';
7: 34the Son of Man has come (erchomai) eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'
8: 12The ones on the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes (erchomai) and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.
8: 17For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come (erchomai) to light.
8: 35Then people went out to see what had happened, and when they came (erchomai) to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
8: 41Just then there came (erchomai) a man named Jairus, a leader of the synagogue. He fell at Jesus' feet and begged him to enter his house,
8: 47When the woman saw that she could not remain hidden, she came (erchomai) trembling; and falling down before him, she declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.
8: 49While he was still speaking, someone came (erchomai) from the leader's house to say, "Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer."
8: 51When he came (erchomai) to the house, he did not allow anyone to enter with him, except Peter, John, and James, and the child's father and mother.
9: 23Then he said to them all, "If any want to come (erchomai) behind me, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
9: 26Those who are ashamed of me and of my words, of them the Son of Man will be ashamed when he comes (erchomai) in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
10: 1After this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them on ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he himself intended to come (erchomai).
10: 32So likewise a Levite, when he came (erchomai) to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
10: 33But a Samaritan while traveling came (erchomai) near him; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity.
11: 2He said to them, "When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come (erchomai).
11: 25When it comes (erchomai), it finds it swept and put in order.
11: 31The queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the people of this generation and condemn them, because she came (erchomai) from the ends of the earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and see, something greater than Solomon is here!
12: 36be like those who are waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that they may open the door for him as soon as he comes (erchomai) and knocks.
12: 37Blessed are those slaves whom the master finds alert when he comes (erchomai); truly I tell you, he will fasten his belt and have them sit down to eat, and going by them he will serve them.
12: 38If he comes (erchomai) during the middle of the night, or near dawn, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves.
12: 39"But know this: if the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming (erchomai), he would not have let his house be broken into.
12: 40You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming (erchomai) at an unexpected hour."
12: 43Blessed is that slave when his master is coming (erchomai) will find at work when he arrives.
12: 45But if that slave says to himself, 'My master is delayed in coming (erchomai),' and if he begins to beat the other slaves, men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk,
12: 49"I came (erchomai) to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
12: 54He also said to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, you immediately say, 'rain is coming (erchomai); and so it happens.
13: 6Then he told this parable: "A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came (erchomai) looking for fruit on it and found none.
13: 7So he said to the gardener, 'See here! For three years I have come (erchomai) looking for fruit on this fig tree, and still I find none. Cut it down! Why should it be wasting the soil?'
13: 14But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had cured on the sabbath, kept saying to the crowd, "There are six days on which work ought to be done; come (erchomai) on those days and be cured, and not on the sabbath day."
13: 35See, your house is left to you. And I tell you, you will not see me until the time when you say, 'Blessed is the one who comes (erchomai) in the name of the Lord.'"
14: 1On one occasion when Jesus was coming (erchomai) to the house of a leader of the Pharisees to eat a meal on the sabbath, they were watching him closely.
14: 9and the host who invited both of you may come (erchomai) and say to you, 'Give this person your place,' and then in disgrace you would start to take the lowest place.
14: 10But when you are invited, go and sit down at the lowest place, so that when your host comes (erchomai), he may say to you, 'Friend, move up higher'; then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at the table with you.
14: 17At the time for the dinner he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, 'Come (erchomai); for everything is ready now.'
14: 20Another said, 'I have just been married, and therefore I cannot come (erchomai).'
14: 26"Whoever comes (erchomai) to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and even life itself, cannot be my disciple.
14: 27Whoever does not carry the cross and does not come (erchomai) behind me cannot be my disciple.
14: 31Or what king, going out to wage war against another king, will not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one who comes (erchomai) against him with twenty thousand?
15: 6And when he comes (erchomai) home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.'
15: 17But when he came (erchomai) to himself he said, 'How many of my father's hired hands have bread enough and to spare, but here I am dying of hunger!
15: 20So he set off and came (erchomai) to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion; he ran and put his arms around him and kissed him.
15: 25"Now his elder son was in the field; and when he came (erchomai) and approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
15: 30But when this son of yours came (erchomai) back, who has devoured your property with prostitutes, you killed the fatted calf for him!'
16: 21who longed to satisfy his hunger with what fell from the rich man's table; even the dogs would come (erchomai) and lick his sores.
16: 28for I have five brothers - that he may warn them, so that they will not also come (erchomai) into this place of torment.'
17: 1Jesus said to his disciples, "Occasions for stumbling are bound to come (erchomai), but woe to anyone by whom they come (erchomai)!
17: 20Once Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming (erchomai), and he answered, "The kingdom of God is not coming (erchomai) with things that can be observed;
17: 22Then he said to the disciples, "The days are coming (erchomai) when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
17: 27They were eating and drinking, and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and the flood came (erchomai) and destroyed all of them.
18: 3In that city there was a widow who kept coming (erchomai) to him and saying, 'Grant me justice against my opponent.'
18: 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice, so that she may not wear me out by continually coming (erchomai).'"
18: 8I tell you, he will quickly grant justice to them. And yet, when the Son of Man comes (erchomai), will he find faith on earth?"
18: 16But Jesus called for them and said, "Let the little children come (erchomai) to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.
18: 30who will not get back very much more in this age, and in the age to come (erchomai) eternal life."
19: 5When Jesus came (erchomai) to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and get down; for I must stay at your house today."
19: 10For the Son of Man came (erchomai) to seek out and to save the lost."
19: 13He summoned ten of his slaves, and gave them ten pounds, and said to them, 'Do business with these until I come (erchomai) back.'
19: 18Then the second came (erchomai), saying, 'Lord, your pound has made five pounds.'
19: 20Then the other came (erchomai), saying, 'Lord, here is your pound. I wrapped it up in a piece of cloth,
19: 23Why then did you not put my money into the bank? Then when I came (erchomai), I could have collected it with interest.'
19: 38saying, "Blessed is the king who comes (erchomai) in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!"
20: 16He will come (erchomai) and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When they heard this, they said, "Heaven forbid!"
21: 6"As for these things that you see, the days will come (erchomai) when not one stone will be left upon another; all will be thrown down."
21: 8And he said, "Beware that you are not led astray; for many will come (erchomai) in my name and say, 'I am he!' and, 'The time is near!' Do not go after them.
21: 27Then they will see 'the Son of Man coming (erchomai) in a cloud' with power and great glory.
22: 7Then came (erchomai) the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
22: 18for I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes (erchomai)."
22: 45When he got up from prayer, he came (erchomai) to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief,

24: 1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came (erchomai) to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared.
24: 23and when they did not find his body there, they came (erchomai) back and told us that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who said that he was alive.

John

1: 7He came (erchomai) as a witness to testify to the light, so that all might believe through him.
1: 9The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming (erchomai) into the world.
1: 11He came (erchomai) to what was his own, and his own people did not accept him.
1: 15(John testified to him and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes (erchomai) after me ranks ahead of me because he was before me.'")
1: 27the one who is coming (erchomai) after me; I am not worthy to untie the thong of his sandal."
1: 29The next day he saw Jesus coming (erchomai) toward him and declared, "Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
1: 30This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes (erchomai) a man who ranks ahead of me because he was before me.'
1: 31I myself did not know him; but I came (erchomai) baptizing with water for this reason, that he might be revealed to Israel."
1: 39He said to them, "Come (erchomai) and see." They came (erchomai) and saw where he was staying, and they remained with him that day. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.
1: 46Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good be of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come (erchomai) and see."
1: 47When Jesus saw Nathanael coming (erchomai) toward him, he said of him, "Here is truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!"
3: 2He came (erchomai) to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come (erchomai) from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God."
3: 8The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes (erchomai) from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."
3: 19And this is the judgment, that the light has come (erchomai) into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
3: 20For all who do evil hate the light and do not come (erchomai) to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed.
3: 21But those who do what is true come (erchomai) to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God."
3: 22After this Jesus and his disciples came (erchomai) into the Judean countryside, and he spent some time there with them and baptized.
3: 26They came (erchomai) to John and said to him, "Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you testified, here he is baptizing, and all are coming (erchomai) to him."
3: 31The one who comes (erchomai) from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes (erchomai) from heaven is above all.
4: 5So he came (erchomai) to a Samaritan city called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph.
4: 7A Samaritan woman came (erchomai) to draw water, and Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."
4: 16Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come (erchomai) back."
4: 21Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming (erchomai) when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
4: 23But the hour is coming (erchomai), and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him.
4: 25The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming (erchomai)" (who is called Christ). "When he comes (erchomai), he will proclaim all things to us."
4: 27Just then his disciples came (erchomai). They were astonished that he was speaking with a woman, but no one said, "What do you want?" or, "Why are you speaking with her?"
4: 30They left the city and were coming (erchomai) to him.
4: 35Do you not say, 'Four months more, then comes (erchomai) the harvest'? But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting.
4: 40So when the Samaritans came (erchomai) to him, they asked him to stay with them; and he stayed there two days.
4: 45When he came (erchomai) to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, since they had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the festival; for they too had come (erchomai) to the festival.
4: 46Then he came (erchomai) again to Cana in Galilee where he had changed the water into wine. Now there was a royal official whose son lay ill in Capernaum.
4: 54Now this was the second sign that Jesus did after coming (erchomai) from Judea to Galilee.
5: 7The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I come (erchomai), someone else steps down ahead of me."
5: 24Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come (erchomai) under judgment, but has passed from death to life.
5: 25"Very truly, I tell you, the hour is coming (erchomai), and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
5: 28Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming (erchomai) when all who are in their graves will hear his voice
5: 40Yet you refuse to come (erchomai) to me to have life.
5: 43I have come (erchomai) in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; if another comes (erchomai) in his own name, you will accept him.
6: 5When he looked up and saw a large crowd coming (erchomai) toward him, Jesus said to Philip, "Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?"
6: 14When the people saw the sign that he had done, they began to say, "This is indeed the prophet who is to come (erchomai) into the world."
6: 15When Jesus realized that they were about to come (erchomai) and take him by force to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
6: 17got into a boat, and came (erchomai) across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come (erchomai) to them.
6: 23Then some boats from Tiberias came (erchomai) near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
6: 24So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into the boats and came (erchomai) to Capernaum looking for Jesus.
6: 35Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes (erchomai) to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
6: 37Everything that the Father gives me will arrive to me, and anyone who comes (erchomai) to me I will never drive away;
6: 44No one can come (erchomai) to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me; and I will raise that person up on the last day.
6: 45It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes (erchomai) to me.
6: 65And he said, "For this reason I have told you that no one can come (erchomai) to me unless it is granted by the Father."
7: 27Yet we know where this man is from; but when the Messiah comes (erchomai), no one will know where he is from."
7: 28Then Jesus cried out as he was teaching in the temple, "You know me, and you know where I am from. I have not come (erchomai) on my own. But the one who sent me is true, and you do not know him.
7: 30Then they tried to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come (erchomai).
7: 31Yet many in the crowd believed in him and were saying, "When the Messiah comes (erchomai), will he do more signs than this man has done?"
7: 34You will search for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come (erchomai)."
7: 36What does he mean by saying, 'You will search for me and you will not find me' and 'Where I am, you cannot come (erchomai)'?"
7: 37On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, "Let anyone who is thirsty come (erchomai) to me,
7: 41Others said, "This is the Messiah." But some asked, "Surely the Messiah does not come (erchomai) from Galilee, does he?
7: 42Has not the scripture said that the Messiah is descended from David and comes (erchomai) from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?"
7: 45Then the temple police came (erchomai) to the chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them, "Why did you not arrest him?"
7: 50Nicodemus, who came (erchomai) to Jesus before, and who was one of them, asked,
8: 2Early in the morning he arrived again to the temple. All the people came (erchomai) to him and he sat down and began to teach them.
8: 14Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid because I know where I have come (erchomai) from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come (erchomai) from or where I am going.
8: 20He spoke these words while he was teaching in the treasury of the temple, but no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come (erchomai).
8: 21Again he said to them, "I am going away, and you will search for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come (erchomai)."
8: 22Then the Jews said, "Is he going to kill himself? Is that what he means by saying, 'Where I am going, you cannot come (erchomai)'?"
8: 42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I arrived from God and now I am here. I did not come (erchomai) on my own, but he sent me.
9: 4We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming (erchomai) when no one can work.
9: 7saying to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). Then he went and washed and came (erchomai) back able to see.
9: 39Jesus said, "I came (erchomai) into this world for judgment so that those who do not see may see, and those who do see may become blind."
10: 8All who came (erchomai) before me are thieves and bandits; but the sheep did not listen to them.
10: 10The thief comes (erchomai) only to steal and kill and destroy. I came (erchomai) that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
10: 12The hired hand, who is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming (erchomai) and leaves the sheep and runs away - and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.
10: 41Many came (erchomai) to him, and they were saying, "John performed no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true."
11: 17When Jesus came (erchomai), he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.
11: 19and many of the Jews had come (erchomai) to Martha and Mary to console them about their brother.
11: 20When Martha heard that Jesus was coming (erchomai), she went and met him, while Mary stayed at home.
11: 27She said to him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming (erchomai) into the world."
11: 29And when she heard it, she got up quickly and came (erchomai) to him.
11: 30Now Jesus had not yet come (erchomai) to the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him.
11: 32When Mary came (erchomai) where Jesus was and saw him, she knelt at his feet and said to him, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."
11: 34He said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Lord, come (erchomai) and see."
11: 38Then Jesus, again greatly disturbed, came (erchomai) to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.
11: 45Many of the Jews therefore, who had come (erchomai) with Mary and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him.
11: 48If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come (erchomai) and destroy both our holy place and our nation."
11: 56They were looking for Jesus and were asking one another as they stood in the temple, "What do you think? Surely he will not come (erchomai) to the festival, will he?"
12: 1Six days before the Passover Jesus came (erchomai) to Bethany, the home of Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
12: 9When the great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, they came (erchomai) not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
12: 12The next day the great crowd that had come (erchomai) to the festival heard that Jesus was coming (erchomai) to Jerusalem.
12: 13So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes (erchomai) in the name of the Lord - the King of Israel!"
12: 15"Do not be afraid, daughter of Zion. Look, your king is coming (erchomai), sitting on a donkey's colt!"
12: 22Philip came (erchomai) and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip came (erchomai) and told Jesus.
12: 23Jesus answered them, "The hour has come (erchomai) for the Son of Man to be glorified.
12: 27"Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say - 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it is for this reason that I have come (erchomai) to this hour.
12: 28Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came (erchomai) from heaven, "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again."
12: 46I have come (erchomai) as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.
