Adjective timios (highly valued) in the Gospels-Acts
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Acts
| 5: 34 | But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, highly valued (timios) by all the people, stood up and ordered the men to be put outside for a short time. |
| 20: 24 | But I do not count my life as highly valued (timios) to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
