Adjective aiōnios (eternal) in the New Testament

Matthew

18: 8"If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away; it is better for you to enter life maimed or lame than to have two hands or two feet and to be thrown into the eternal (aiōnios) fire.
19: 16Then someone came to him and said, "Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal (aiōnios) life?"
19: 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal (aiōnios) life.
25: 41Then he will say to those at his left hand, 'You that are accursed, depart from me into the eternal (aiōnios) fire prepared for the devil and his angels;
25: 46And these will go away into eternal (aiōnios) punishment, but the righteous into eternal (aiōnios) life."

Mark

3: 29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal (aiōnios) sin" -

John

3: 15that whoever believes in him may have eternal (aiōnios) life.

Acts

13: 48When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and praised the word of the Lord; and as many as had been destined for eternal (aiōnios) life became believers.

1 John

1: 2this life was revealed, and we have seen it and testify to it, and declare to you the eternal (aiōnios) life that was with the Father and was revealed to us
2: 25And this is what he has promised us, eternal (aiōnios) life.
3: 15All who hate a brother or sister are murderers, and you know that murderers do not have eternal (aiōnios) life abiding in them.

2 Corinthians

4: 17For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal (aiōnios) weight of glory beyond all measure,
4: 18because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal (aiōnios).
5: 1For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal (aiōnios) in the heavens.

Galatians

6: 8If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal (aiōnios) life from the Spirit.

Romans

2: 7to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal (aiōnios) life;
5: 21so that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal (aiōnios) life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Philemon

2 Timothy

1: 9who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the eternal (aiōnios) times,
2: 10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, so that they may also obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal (aiōnios) glory.

Titus

1: 2in the hope of eternal (aiōnios) life that God, who never lies, promised before eternal (aiōnios) times
3: 7so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal (aiōnios) life.

Hebrews

5: 9and having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal (aiōnios) salvation for all who obey him,
6: 2instruction about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal (aiōnios) judgment.
9: 12he entered once for all into the Holy Place, not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal (aiōnios) redemption.
9: 14how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal (aiōnios) Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!

Jude

1: 21keep yourselves in the love of God; look forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal (aiōnios) life.

Revelation

14: 6Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal (aiōnios) gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth - to every nation and tribe and language and people.
