Luke

8: 40Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed (apodechomai) him, for they were all waiting for him.
9: 11When the crowds found out about it, they followed him; and he welcomed (apodechomai) them, and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed to be cured.

Acts

2: 41So those who welcomed (apodechomai) his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.
