Verb apokteinō (to kill) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

10: 28Do not fear those who kill (apokteinō) the body but cannot kill (apokteinō) the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
14: 5Though Herod wanted to kill (apokteinō) him, he feared the crowd, because they regarded him as a prophet.
16: 21From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and undergo great suffering at the hands of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed (apokteinō), and on the third day be raised.
17: 23and they will kill (apokteinō) him, and on the third day he will be raised." And they were greatly distressed.

Luke
