Verb baptizō (to baptize, to wash, to dip, to overwhelm) in the Bible

Matthew

3: 6and they were baptized (baptizō) by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
3: 11"I baptize (baptizō) you with water for repentance, but one who is more powerful than I is coming after me; I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize (baptizō) you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
3: 13Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized (baptizō) by him.
3: 14John would have prevented him, saying, "I need to be baptized (baptizō) by you, and do you come to me?"

Mark

Luke
