Noun Barabbas (Barabbas) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

Matthew

27: 16At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Jesus Barabbas (Barabbas).
27: 17So after they had gathered, Pilate said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas (Barabbas) or Jesus who is called the Messiah?"
27: 20Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas (Barabbas) and to have Jesus killed.
27: 21The governor again said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barabbas (Barabbas)."
27: 26So he released Barabbas (Barabbas) for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.

Mark

15: 7Now a man called Barabbas (Barabbas) was in prison with the rebels who had committed murder during the insurrection.
15: 11But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas (Barabbas) for them instead.
15: 15So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas (Barabbas) for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.

Luke

23: 18Then they all shouted out together, "Away with this fellow! Release Barabbas (Barabbas) for us!"

John

18: 40They shouted in reply, "Not this man, but Barabbas (Barabbas)!" Now Barabbas (Barabbas) was a bandit.
