Matthew
| 26: 43 | Again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were weighed down (bareō). |
Luke
| 9: 32 | Now Peter and his companions were weighed down (bareō) with sleep; but since they had stayed awake, they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him. |
| 21: 34 | "Be on guard so that your hearts are not weighed down (bareō) with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of this life, and that day does not catch you unexpectedly, |
2 Corinthians
| 1: 8 | We do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, of the affliction we experienced in Asia; for we were so utterly, unbearably weighed down (bareō) that we despaired of life itself. |

1 Timothy
