Verb boskō (to feed) in the Gospels-Acts
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Matthew
| 8: 30 | Now a large herd of swine was feeding (boskō) at some distance from them. |
| 8: 33 | Those feeding (boskō) [the swine] ran off, and on going into the town, they told the whole story about what had happened to the demoniacs. |
Mark
| 5: 11 | Now there on the hillside a great herd of swine was feeding (boskō); |
| 5: 14 | Those feeding (boskō) [the swine] ran off and told it in the city and in the country. Then people came to see what it was that had happened. |
Luke
| 8: 32 | Now there on the hillside a large herd of swine was feeding (boskō); and the demons begged Jesus to let them enter these. So he gave them permission. |
| 8: 34 | When those feeding (boskō) [the swine] saw what had happened, they ran off and told it in the city and in the country. |
| 15: 15 | So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed (boskō) the pigs. |
John
