Luke

22: 58A short (brachys) [time] later someone else, on seeing him, said, "You also are one of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"

John

6: 7Philip answered him, "Six months' wages would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a short (brachys) [piece]."

Acts

5: 34But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, respected by all the people, stood up and ordered the men to be put outside for a short (brachys) [time].
27: 28So they took soundings and found twenty fathoms; moving farther on a short (brachys) [distance] they took soundings again and found fifteen fathoms.
