Verb dapanaō (to spend) in the Gospels-Acts
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Mark
| 5: 26 | She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent (dapanaō) all that she had; and she was no better, but rather grew worse. |
Luke
| 15: 14 | When he had spent (dapanaō) everything, a severe famine took place throughout that country, and he began to be in need. |
Acts
| 21: 24 | Join these men, go through the rite of purification with them, and spend (dapanaō) for them in order that their heads be shaved. Thus all will know that there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself observe and guard the law. |
