Verb diaginōskō (to examine) in the Gospels-Acts

Acts

23: 15Now then, you and the council must notify the tribune to bring him down to you, on the pretext that you want to examine (diaginōskō) more thoroughly this case. And we are ready to do away with him before he arrives."
24: 22But Felix, who was rather well informed about the Way, adjourned the hearing with the comment, "When Lysias the tribune comes down, I will examine (diaginōskō) your case."
