Verb diamartyromai (to testify) in the Gospels-Acts

Luke

16: 28for I have five brothers - that he may testify (diamartyromai) to them, so that they will not also come into this place of torment.'

Acts

2: 40And he testified (diamartyromai) with many other arguments and exhorted them, saying, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."
8: 25Now after Peter and John had testified (diamartyromai) and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, proclaiming the good news to many villages of the Samaritans.
10: 42He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify (diamartyromai) that he is the one ordained by God as judge of the living and the dead.
