Matthew

3: 15But Jesus answered him, "Let it be so now; for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness (dikaiosynē)." Then he consented.
5: 6"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (dikaiosynē), for they will be filled.
5: 10"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness (dikaiosynē)' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5: 20For I tell you, unless your righteousness (dikaiosynē) exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

1 John

2: 29If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness (dikaiosynē) has been born of him.
3: 7Little children, let no one deceive you. Everyone who practices righteousness (dikaiosynē) is righteous, just as he is righteous.
3: 10The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not practice righteousness (dikaiosynē) are not from God, nor are those who do not love their brothers and sisters.
