Verb eaō (to let, to allow) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

24: 43But understand this: if the owner of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let (eaō) his house be broken into.

Luke

4: 41Demons also came out of many, shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them and would not allow (eaō) them to speak, because they knew that he was the Messiah.
22: 51But Jesus said, "Let (eaō) [these things] up to this [point]!" And he touched his ear and healed him.

Acts

14: 16In past generations he allowed (eaō) all the nations to follow their own ways;
16: 7When they had come opposite Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow (eaō) them;
19: 30Paul wished to go into the crowd, but the disciples would not let (eaō) him;
23: 32The next day they let (eaō) the horsemen go on with him, while they returned to the barracks.
27: 32Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the boat and let (eaō) it adrift.
