Matthew
| 3: 10 | Even now the ax is lying at the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut (ekkoptō) down and thrown into the fire. |
| 5: 30 | And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut (ekkoptō) it off and throw it away; it is better for you to lose one of your members than for your whole body to go into hell. |
