Verb emblepō (to look straight at, to consider) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

6: 26Consider (emblepō) the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
19: 26But Jesus looked straight at (emblepō) them and said, "For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible."

Mark

8: 25Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he looked intently and his sight was restored, and he was able to consider (emblepō) everything clearly.
10: 21Jesus, looking straight at (emblepō) him, loved him and said, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me."

John

1: 36and as he looked straight at (emblepō) Jesus walk by, he exclaimed, "Look, here is the Lamb of God!"

Acts

1: 11They said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand considering (emblepō) the heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."
