Luke
| 24: 5 | The women became frightened (emphobos) and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. |
| 24: 37 | They were startled and became frightened (emphobos) and thought that they were seeing a ghost. |
Acts
| 10: 4 | He stared at him and became frightened (emphobos), he said, "What is it, Lord?" He answered, "Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. |
