Verb empiptō (fall into) in the New Testament

Matthew

12: 11He said to them, "Suppose one of you has only one sheep and it falls into (empiptō) a pit on the sabbath; will you not lay hold of it and lift it out?

Luke

6: 39He also told them a parable: "Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into (empiptō) a pit?
10: 36Which of these three, do you think, was a neighbor to the man who fell into (empiptō)the hands of the robbers?"

1 Timothy

3: 6He must not be a recent convert, or he may be puffed up with conceit and fall into (empiptō) the condemnation of the devil.
3: 7Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into (empiptō) disgrace and the snare of the devil.
