Verb epaineō (to praise) in the New Testament

Luke

16: 8And his master praised (epaineō) the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the children of this age are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light.

1 Corinthians

11: 2I praise (epaineō) you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions just as I handed them on to you.
11: 17Now in the following instructions I do not praise (epaineō) you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse.
