Luke
| 1: 35 | The angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon (eperchomai) you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God. |
| 11: 22 | But when one stronger than he comes upon (eperchomai) him and overpowers him, he takes away his armor in which he trusted and divides his plunder. |
| 21: 26 | People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon (eperchomai) the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. |
