Noun hamartia (sin) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

1: 21She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins (hamartia)."
3: 6and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins (hamartia).
9: 2And just then some people were carrying a paralyzed man lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins (hamartia) are forgiven."
9: 5For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins (hamartia) are forgiven,' or to say, 'Stand up and walk'?
9: 6But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins (hamartia)" - he then said to the paralytic - "Stand up, take your bed and go to your home."
12: 31Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin (hamartia) and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
26: 28for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins (hamartia).

Mark

John

Acts

1 John

1: 7but if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin (hamartia).
1: 8If we say that we have no sin (hamartia), we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1: 9If we confess our sins (hamartia), he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins (hamartia) and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2: 2and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins (hamartia), and not for ours only but also for the the whole world.
2: 12I am writing to you, little children, because your sins (hamartia) are forgiven on account of his name.

5: 17All wrongdoing is sin (hamartia), but there is sin (hamartia) that is not mortal.
