| 23: 27 | "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which on the outside look beautiful (hōraios), but inside they are full of the bones of the dead and of all kinds of filth. |
Acts
| 3: 2 | And a man lame from birth was being carried in. People would lay him daily at the gate of the temple called the Beautiful (hōraios) Gate so that he could ask for alms from those entering the temple. |
