Luke
| 4: 42 | At daybreak he departed and went into a deserted place. And the crowds were looking for him; and when they reached him, they were holding him fast (katechō) so that he would not move from them. |
| 8: 15 | But as for that in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast (katechō) in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance. |
| 14: 9 | and the host who invited both of you may come and say to you, 'Give this person your place,' and then in disgrace you would start to hold fast (katechō) the lowest place. |
Acts
| 27: 40 | So they cast off the anchors and left them in the sea. At the same time they loosened the ropes that tied the steering-oars; then hoisting the foresail to the wind, they held fast (katechō) [the vessel] toward the beach. |
