Verb ktaomai (acquire) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

10: 9Acquire (ktaomai) no gold, or silver, or copper for your belts,

Luke

18: 12I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all the things I acquired (ktaomai).'
21: 19By your endurance you will acquire (ktaomai) your souls.

Acts

1: 18(Now this man acquired (ktaomai) a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.
8: 20But Peter said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could acquire (ktaomai) God's gift with money!
22: 28The tribune answered, "It cost me a large sum of money to acquire (ktaomai) my citizenship." Paul said, "But I was born a citizen."
