Verb lithazō (to stone) in the Gospels-Acts

John

8: 5Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone (lithazō) such women. Now what do you say?"
10: 31The Jews took up stones again to stone (lithazō) him.
10: 32Jesus replied, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone (lithazō) me?"
10: 33The Jews answered, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone (lithazō) you, but for blasphemy, because you, though only a human being, are making yourself God."
11: 8The disciples said to him, "Rabbi, the Jews were just now trying to stone (lithazō) you, and are you going there again?"

Acts

5: 26Then the captain went with the temple police and brought them, but without violence, for they were afraid of being stoned (lithazō) by the people.
14: 19But Jews came there from Antioch and Iconium and won over the crowds. Then they stoned (lithazō) Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
