(Translation from NRSV)

Acts

2: 46Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and took (metalambanō) their food with glad and generous hearts,
24: 25And as he discussed justice, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, "Go away for the present; having obtained (metalambanō) an opportunity, I will send for you."
27: 33Just before daybreak, Paul urged all of them to take (metalambanō) some food, saying, "Today is the fourteenth day that you have been in suspense and remaining without food, having eaten nothing.
27: 34Therefore I urge you to take (metalambanō) some food, for it will help you survive; for none of you will lose a hair from your heads."
