Verb miseō (to hate) in the New Testament

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

5: 43"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate (miseō) your enemy.'
6: 24"No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate (miseō) the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
10: 22and you will be hated (miseō) by all because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
24: 9"Then they will hand you over to be tortured and will put you to death, and you will be hated (miseō) by all nations because of my name.
24: 10Then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate (miseō) one another.

Luke
