Verb oikonomeō (to manage) in the Bible

Luke

16: 2So he summoned him and said to him, 'What is this that I hear about you? Give me an accounting of your management, because you cannot manage (oikonomeō) any longer.'

Psalms (LXX)

112 (111): 5The good man is he that pities and lends: he will manage (oikonomeō) his affairs with judgment.

2 Maccabees (LXX)

3: 14So at the day which he appointed he entered in to manage (oikonomeō) this matter: wherefore there was no small agony throughout the whole city.

3: 2While this was being managed (oikonomeō), an invidious rumour was uttered abroad by men who had banded together to injure the Jewish race. The purport of their charge was, that the Jews kept them away from the ordinances of the law.
