Noun ophthalmos (eye) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

5: 29If your right eye (ophthalmos) causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away; it is better for you to lose one of your members than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
5: 38"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye (ophthalmos) for an eye (ophthalmos) and a tooth for a tooth.'
6: 22"The eye (ophthalmos) is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye (ophthalmos) is healthy, your whole body will be full of light;
6: 23but if your eye (ophthalmos) is unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
7: 3Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye (ophthalmos), but do not notice the log in your own eye (ophthalmos)?
7: 4Or how can you say to your neighbor, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye (ophthalmos),' while the log is in your own eye (ophthalmos)?
7: 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye (ophthalmos), and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor's eye (ophthalmos).
9: 29Then he touched their eyes (ophthalmos) and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you."

Mark

Luke

Acts

1: 9When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their eyes (ophthalmos).

1 John

2: 11But whoever hates another believer is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and does not know the way to go, because the darkness has blinded their eyes (ophthalmos).
2: 16for all that is in the world - the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes (ophthalmos), the pride in riches - comes not from the Father but from the world.
