Verb paideuō (to educate) in the Gospels-Acts

Luke

23: 16I will therefore have him educated (paideuō) [i.e. flogged] and release him."
23: 22A third time he said to them, "Why, what evil has he done? I have found in him no ground for the sentence of death; I will therefore have him educated (paideuō) [i.e. flogged] and then release him."

Acts

7: 22So Moses was educated (paideuō) in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.
22: 3"I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, educated (paideuō) strictly according to our ancestral law, being zealous for God, just as all of you are today.
