11: 42I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing around (periistēmi), so that they may believe that you sent me."

Acts

25: 7When he arrived, the Jews who had gone down from Jerusalem stood around (periistēmi) him, bringing many serious charges against him, which they could not prove.
