5: 37Let your word be 'Yes, Yes' or 'No, No'; anything superfluous (perissos) comes from the evil one.
5: 47And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what are you doing [that is] overabundant (perissos)? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
