Noun ploutos (wealth) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

13: 22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth (ploutos) choke the word, and it yields nothing.

Mark

4: 19but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth (ploutos), and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it yields nothing.

Luke

8: 14As for what fell among the thorns, these are the ones who hear; but as they go on their way, they are choked by the cares and wealth (ploutos) and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.
