Mark
| 15: 43 | Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the council, who was also himself waiting (prosdechomai) expectantly for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. |
Luke
| 2: 25 | Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; this man was righteous and devout, waiting (prosdechomai) for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit rested on him. |
