3: 9He told his disciples to have a boat be devoted (proskartereō) to him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him;

Acts

1: 14All these were constantly devoting (proskartereō) themselves to prayer, together with certain women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, as well as his brothers.
