Noun pseustēs (liar) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

John

8: 44You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar (pseustēs) and the father of lies.
8: 55though you do not know him. But I know him; if I would say that I do not know him, I would be a liar (pseustēs) like you. But I do know him and I keep his word.

1 John

1: 10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar (pseustēs), and his word is not in us.
2: 4Whoever says, "I have come to know him," but does not obey his commandments, is a liar (pseustēs), and in such a person the truth does not exist;
2: 22Who is the liar (pseustēs) but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
4: 20Those who say, "I love God," and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars (pseustēs); for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.
5: 10Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in God have made him a liar (pseustēs) by not believing in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
