Verb skaptō (to dig) in the Bible

Luke

6: 48That one is like a man building a house, who dug (skaptō) deeply and laid the foundation on rock; when a flood arose, the river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well built.
13: 8He replied, 'Sir, let it alone for one more year, until I dig (skaptō) around it and put manure on it.
16: 3Then the manager said to himself, 'What will I do, now that my master is taking the position away from me? I am not strong enough to dig (skaptō), and I am ashamed to beg.

Isaiah

5: 6 And I will forsake my vineyard; and it shall not be pruned, nor dug (skaptō), and thorns shall come up upon it as on barren land; and I will command the clouds to rain no rain upon it.
