(Translation from NRSV)

Mark

1: 26And the unclean spirit, convulsing (sparassō) him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
9: 26After crying out and convulsing (sparassō) him terribly, it came out, and the boy was like a corpse, so that most of them said, "He is dead."

Luke

9: 39Suddenly a spirit seizes him, and all at once he shrieks. It convulses (sparassō) him until he foams at the mouth; it mauls him and will scarcely leave him.
