Noun stachys (ear) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

12: 1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the sabbath; his disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck ears (stachys) and to eat.

Mark

2: 23One sabbath he was going through the grainfields; and as they made their way his disciples began to pluck ears (stachys).
4: 28The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the ear (stachys), then the full grain in the ear (stachys).

Luke

6: 1One sabbath while Jesus was going through the grainfields, his disciples plucked some ears (stachys), rubbed them in their hands, and ate them.
