Verb strephō (to turn) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

5: 39But I say to you, Do not resist an evildoer. But if anyone strikes you on the right cheek, turn (strephō) the other also;
7: 6"Do not give what is holy to dogs; and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under foot and turn (strephō) and maul you.
9: 22Jesus turned (strephō), and seeing her he said, "Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well." And instantly the woman was made well.
16: 23But he turned (strephō) and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; for you are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things."
18: 3and said, "Truly I tell you, unless you turn (strephō) back and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Luke

7: 9When Jesus heard this he was amazed at him, and turning (strephō) to the crowd that followed him, he said, "I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith."
7: 44Then turning (strephō) toward the woman, he said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair.
9: 55But he turned (strephō) and rebuked them.
10: 23Then turning (strephō) to the disciples, Jesus said to them privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!

John

1: 38When Jesus turned (strephō) and saw them following, he said to them, "What are you looking for?" They said to him, "Rabbi" (which translated means Teacher), "where are you staying?"
12: 40"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they might not look with their eyes, and understand with their heart and turn (strephō) - and I would heal them."
20: 14When she had said this, she turned (strephō) around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
20: 16Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned (strephō) and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni!" (which means Teacher).

Acts

7: 39Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him; instead, they pushed him aside, and in their hearts they turned (strephō) back to Egypt,
7: 42But God turned (strephō) away from them and handed them over to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: 'Did you offer to me slain victims and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?
