Verb teleō (to finish, to fulfill, to pay) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

7: 28Now when Jesus had finished (teleō) saying these things, the crowds were astounded at his teaching,
10: 23When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly I tell you, you will not finish (teleō) [going through] all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
11: 1Now when Jesus had finished (teleō) instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and proclaim his message in their cities.
13: 53When Jesus had finished (teleō) these parables, he left that place.
17: 24When they reached Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax came to Peter and said, "Does your teacher not pay (teleō) the temple tax?"
19: 1When Jesus had finished (teleō) saying these things, he left Galilee and went to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.

Luke
