Luke

6: 48That one is like a man building a house, who dug deeply and laid the foundation (themelios) on rock; when a flood arose, the river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well built.
6: 49But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation (themelios). When the river burst against it, immediately it fell, and great was the ruin of that house."
14: 29Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation (themelios) and is not able to finish, all who see it will begin to ridicule him,

Acts

16: 26Suddenly there was an earthquake, so violent that the foundations (themelios) of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened.
