Verb xenizō (to receive as a guest, to surprise) in the Gospels-Acts

Acts

10: 6he is received as a guest (xenizō) by Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside."
10: 18They called out to ask whether Simon, who was called Peter, was received as a guest (xenizō) there.
10: 23So Peter invited them in and received them as guests (xenizō). The next day he got up and went with them, and some of the believers from Joppa accompanied him.
10: 32Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon, who is called Peter; he is received as a guest (xenizō) in the home of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.'
17: 20You are surprising (xenizō) us with strange things that reach our ears, so we would like to know what it means."
