And a considerable number of the townspeople were with her. 12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out-the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
13 When the Lord saw her, he had compassion for her and said to her, "Do not weep."13 When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, "Do not weep."13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.13 When the Lord" saw her he felt sorry for her. "Do not cry," he said. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
14 Then he came forward and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, "Young man, I say to you, rise!"14 He stepped forward and touched the coffin; at this the bearers halted, and he said, "Young man, I tell you, arise!"14 And he came nigh and touched the bier: and the bearers stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.14 Then he went up and put his hand on the bier and the bearers stood still, and he said, "Young man, I tell you to get up." 14 Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!"14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare [him] stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
